Pro-Handicap 2.0 delivered the straight exacta in Belmont’s 10th race, a $105,000 allowance at one mile on turf for three-year-olds and up. Track-IQ’s Primary selection, #2 Funny Factor, rallied to win at 10-1, paying $22.08, while Secondary selection, #3 Instability (IRE), finished second. The top two selections crossed the wire in the projected order, returning a $123.92 exacta for $2.

Funny Factor’s victory showcased the finishing strength identified by the analytics. Track-IQ credited him with field-leading speed and late-pace win probabilities of 43% SPD and 34% LP, while Alpha Signal assigned him a POSITIVE signal and an 89 grade. With Instability stalking the leader through the opening half-mile, Funny Factor settled in midpack before advancing around the far turn. Briefly bottled up entering the stretch, he needed room to deliver his rally. Castellano worked him through traffic, angled five wide, and timed his finish to catch Instability in the final strides. It was a Hall of Fame ride by Castellano, whose patience, control, and timing gave Funny Factor every chance to produce his best finish. The ride made effective use of Funny Factor’s late strength, while his 10-1 price offered a substantial overlay against his 3.5-1 model odds.

Instability justified his Secondary ranking by pressing Repentless, taking command entering the stretch, and battling until Funny Factor caught him near the wire. His class-and-figure support and proven suitability for the surface and distance were reflected in that performance. The result supported the Primary-over-Secondary selection order, although the pace forecast was less precise: Repentless led rather than projected pace controller Foligno. Twain, listed among Track-IQ’s Value Picks, added another positive result for the analytics, rallying for third despite swinging eight to nine wide into the stretch.

Track-IQ had the winner in Keeneland’s premier race today with its Primary selection of Rhetorical in the $1.25 million Grade 1 Coolmore Turf Mile, contested at one mile on turf for three-year-olds and upward. His selection reflected several reinforcing strengths: a field-leading WP% of approximately 20%, competitive speed figures, and a class-and-figure strength designation supported by a recent BRIS average of 96.5 and a top-two Prime Power rating of 165.7. His speed-figure CV of approximately 7% indicated relatively consistent performances. He also brought proven suitability, with two wins from five starts at the distance, six wins from eleven turf starts, and an in-the-money finish in both previous Keeneland appearances.

Alpha Signal reinforced that assessment by ranking Rhetorical first by model odds and highlighting the convergence of his historical performance strength, class credentials, and nine supported finishing efforts. His connections supplied additional support: Irad Ortiz Jr. carried a 24% win rate, while William Walden’s qualifying 46–90-day layoff angle showed 25% wins from 96 starters. In the race, Rhetorical secured a soft lead, answered Zulu Kingdom’s challenge turning for home, and accelerated clear entering the final furlong. His strong finish demonstrated the ability to sustain his effort when challenged.

Rhetorical was an underlay at his actual odds of 9-5. Track-IQ priced him at approximately 3.7-1. His $5.72 win payoff therefore confirmed the winning Primary selection, but the available odds fell below our assessed value threshold. He was our leading selection on overall merit; the market offered a shorter price than his fair-value odds.

The Track-IQ framework had an excellent result in the nightcap at Belmont in the 11th race, the $250K Pilgrim Stakes at 1 1/16 mi. on the turf for two-year-olds, having the winner with its Primary selection of #12 Let Em Know at 12-1 versus a fair-value price of 9-2. The race had high uncertainty, with no horse having theoretical odds lower than 9-2 according to the Model. Let Em Know stalked from third and fourth through opening half mile and then accelerated three-wide around the far turning before taking the lead from #7 Stock Rising at 10-1 midway down the stretch and sustaining to the wire. The program’s third selection, #4 Roscoe Goose at 7-1, finished second. Let Em Know paid $27.38 for the win and the $2 ex. paid $182.36. Let Em Know was not only the Primary Selection in the Track-IQ analysis despite a 7.2% Win Percentage on turf (about 13-1 equivalent odds) but also had the highest readiness grade at 89 in Alpha Signal and was labelled “race fit strong”. This race illustrates once again the value of considering the turf only data along with the mixed data.

Race 7 – $500K G1 Joe Hirsch Classic at 1 1/2 mi. on the turf for three-year-olds and up

Pro-Handicap 2.0’s Track-IQ and Alpha Signal delivered excellent results in the $500,000 Grade 1 Joe Hirsch at Belmont, having the winner with its Primary selection in #5 Minaret Station at 5-1, who returned $13.72 to win over two favorites at 7-5 and 8-5. Alpha Signal ranked him first with an 82 grade and a POSITIVE signal.

The analysis identified concrete reasons to support Minaret Station. Track-IQ projected a stalking trip with finishing support, highlighting his approximately 35% late-pace win probability. Alpha Signal labeled him a Strong Finisher, noting that he had gained an average of three lengths from the second call to the finish across his last four usable starts, and highlighted trainer William Walden’s 24% win rate with qualifying layoff runners. In the race, Minaret Station tracked the leaders, moved four wide into the stretch, and rallied to seize command late.

Track-IQ’s top three selections were the race’s first three finishers: Primary Minaret Station won, Tertiary #2 Far Bridge finished second, and Secondary #1 El Cordobes finished third. With the Secondary and Tertiary reversing their projected order, the $2 exacta paid $100.22 and the $0.50 trifecta paid $53.80. Both reports put the winner on top, and Track-IQ supplied the three horses who completed the exacta and trifecta—an outstanding showing in a major Grade 1 turf race.

The PRX0930 Track-IQ card produced 100% winner coverage, with the winner appearing in the Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, or Quaternary selections in all nine races. The Primary selections were particularly strong, producing four winners from nine races and a 161.1% ROI on $2 win wagers. The four Primary winners included #4 Ximena, #8 Tap and a Hug, #3 Little Cocoa Bean, and #6 Cocoa’s Vivian. The standout was #3 Little Cocoa Bean in Race 8, which was the Primary selection and paid an impressive $22.20 for a $2 win wager. The Alpha Signal analysis makes that result especially noteworthy: Little Cocoa Bean carried an 8–1 morning line against 2.5–1 Model Odds, a 3.20x value ratio, while posting extraordinary field-relative figures of 100% E1 and 79.3% E2. The horse was also identified with a Buy signal because of a 19.5% WP (equating to 4-1 odds).

The Secondary selections added two more winners, bringing the combined Primary and Secondary total to six winners in nine races. The Tertiary selections supplied two additional winners, while Race 1 produced an exceptional result from the Quaternary position, with #1 Carry Grant returning $30.40 for $2. Taken together, the card demonstrated both the strength of the top Track-IQ selections and the depth of the model: every winner was captured somewhere within the P/S/T/Q four-horse structure.
