Race 3 at Tampa, Sat., Dec 4

The Turf Program had a good result in the 3rd race at Tampa today, a $24k maiden race at 1 mi. on the turf for maiden three-year-old fillies, with its first selection of #6 Dynamic Actress at 7-2. With just a few horses having previous starts on turf, Dynamic Actress had a total win probability of 67.68%, translating to odds of 1-2. The horse projected 2nd in SPD with a win estimate of 33% but 1st in E1, E2 and COMP with dominate estimates of 77/8%, 100% and 77.6%. In the race, Dynamic Actress went wire-to-wire in the win, paying $9.80. The race once again illustrates the value of having pure turf perspective and projections.

$75K Kris Kringle Stakes at Parx, Tues., Dec 31

The program had a very nice result today in the $75K Kris Kringle Stakes at Parx, run at 1 1/16 mi. on the dirt for three-year-olds and up, having the tri-fecta order correct with its first three selections of #1 Ofally Cool at 5-1, #10 Movisitor at 10-1 and #8 Repo Rocks at 2-1. The $0.50 tri-fecta paid $200.50!

Race 6 at Gulfstream, Fri., Dec. 27

The Turf Program had an excellent result in the 6th race today at Gulfstream, a $35K claiming race at 1 mi. on the turf for three-year-old fillies and mares, with its first selection of #4 Sassy Allie at 5-1. The horse had a total win probability of 38.17%, converting to theoretical odds of 8-5. Besides projecting strongly in E1 and E2 with win estimates of 69.6 and 53%, Sassie Allie had a 41.5% COMP value, indicating about 8-5 strength in the simulation on a component level in the aggregate. In the race, Sassie Allie went wire-to-wire in the win, holding off a late charging #3 Crimson at 8-1. Sassie Allie paid $12.60 for the win.
