Value Watch goes further by comparing the live price with model fair odds, so you can see when a horse moves from overlay to underlay as post time approaches.
Every metric cell translates a modeled probability into implied odds and compares those odds with the live tote. If a horse’s composite pace figure implies 3–1 and the tote offers 6–1, the cell shows an overlay on that metric. If the price drops to 2–1, it shows an underlay. You can see which speed or pace figures support the current price and weigh them alongside the horse’s overall model odds.
The established Pro‑Handicap method applies statistical modeling tuned by track, surface, and distance. The proprietary Public Confidence indicator (PC) gives you a separate read on how strongly the public is backing a horse relative to its prior betting history. Together, they show where the market and model agree and where they diverge.
See where the tote is offering a price worth a closer look. Intelligent color coding separates overlays from underlays, while the percentage in each cell shows how much the live price differs from the odds implied by that metric.
