Saratoga Coverage Live for Tomorrow, Thurs., Aug. 20

Pro-Handicap Analytics’ coverage of the Saratoga summer meet resumes tomorrow, Thurs., Aug. 20, with the Track IQ-Report, Overlay Map and the enhanced Alpha Signal Report, all combined into one PDF for sale. Saratoga offers an attractive stakes lineup this weekend as the meet builds toward Travers Day, highlighted by Saturday’s Grade 1 Alabama Stakes, a $600,000 test for 3-year-old fillies at the demanding 1¼-mile distance, along with the Grade 2 Ballston Spa Stakes for older fillies and mares on the turf. The weekend also features Friday’s $200,000 Fleet Indian Stakes and Sunday’s $200,000 Albany Stakes, giving New York-breds opportunities at nine furlongs on the main track. Together, the races provide an intriguing mixture of developing 3-year-olds, accomplished graded-stakes runners and horses being asked to prove themselves over longer distances, making this one of Saratoga’s more interesting weekends immediately before the centerpiece Travers Stakes on August 29.
