Today’s coverage begins at Saratoga with the $200,000 Bernard Baruch Stakes, a 1 1/16-mile turf race for horses three years old and upward, followed by live coverage from Del Mar.
Saturday’s featured older-horse race is Del Mar’s $100,000 Tranquility Lake Stakes, a one-mile dirt race for fillies and mares three years old and upward. We will also cover Saratoga’s $300,000 Spinaway (G1), a seven-furlong dirt race for 2-year-old fillies.
Sunday offers several races for more established horses. Saratoga presents the $225,000 Prioress (G3) for 3-year-old fillies at six furlongs on dirt and the $150,000 Disco Partner Stakes for horses three years old and upward at 5½ furlongs on turf. Del Mar features the $125,000 Shared Belief Stakes for 3-year-olds at one mile on dirt, while Monmouth Park hosts the $100,000 Red Bank Stakes for horses three years old and upward at one mile on turf.
Our selected juvenile feature on Sunday will be the $300,000 Del Mar Futurity (G1), a seven-furlong dirt race for 2-year-olds.
Follow Pro-Handicap for focused coverage of major tracks as Saratoga approaches its Labor Day finale and racing returns to Belmont Park later this month.
